While originally just born from a desire to help tattoo artists protect their original work, after beginning the project it became clear that underlying this was another issue. This was that the practice of tattooing is not respected as an art form.

Dissertation Presentation Theme: Hybrid
Whilst on the MA Culture and Enterprise course I created a tiny gallery outside my house to exhibit work from local and not so local artists. responses I decided to keep the project going and decided I would like try to scale it and write about it for my MA Live project which finishes this December. I would like to share my thoughts and this journey at the symposium.
Dissertation Presentation: “The Curatorial as Monument” investigates the ongoing status of the monument and seeks to speculate on how to ‘warn or remind’ after the assassination of Investigative Journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia in Malta. It looks to the activist, the curatorial and the disruptive as spaces for the monument to emerge.
